The Past

Mintkit had a normal kithood with two very loving parents, both of which passed away not too long after she was born. She didn't ask too many questions about them, though. She knew she would become the best warrior ever one day, and make them super proud of her. Through her apprenticehood, she had gained quite a few useful friends, which she was grateful for. Even then, she still felt like an outsider. She just didn't feel like all of the other cats, and she couldn't figure out why. She was 10 moons old when she was told that she would be one of three medicine cat apprentices. She was absolutely shocked. 

On one paw, she was grateful for the opportunity! On the other, all she had ever wanted in life was to be a warrior and make everyone proud of her, isn't that what her parents would have wanted for her? Would they be proud if she did happen to be the next medicine cat? She didn't feel like she really had a choice, either way. She would do whatever her clan asked of her, and that was final. 

After her training had finished, she was the one voted to be the next medicine cat! She hadn't felt like she did very good with her assessment, though. Presently, she still has issues with seeing herself as a medicine cat, though she is also happy to be in that position.
