The Past

Granitepaw's history is very plain, much like himself. He was born into Chasmclan to two guards, so in addition to his stocky and large build, he was born to become a guard. His only littermate was stillborn, unfortunately, and he was born with a birth defect, albeit an insignificant one. It just furthered the idea that he would never be a hunter, as he doesn't have the best sense of smell at all times. Granitepaw's kithood was spent with his mother and the other kits in the nursery at the time, as due to the stillborn littermate and his own birth defect, his father left his mother to find a different mate. 

Despite the rejection by his father, Granitepaw is a fairly simple tom who did not let that fact get in his head. He has been a pupil for four moons now, but recently lost his mother, who was mentoring him in the ways of the guards of Chasmclan. Therefore he is now looking for a new guard to be his mentor, to finish out his training until he is ready to prove his skill set to the leader.

I plan on starting Granitepaw out as fairly plain, so I have a clean slate to work with and to throw into plots to further develop his personality.
