Tangledthorn 197 @/open Large green orbs peered out from the shadow of a palm shrub. They watched calmly as the sun's light leaked from the sky leaving a sliver of moon behind in its absence. Tangledthorn stepped out of the looming shadow; his tall, pointed ears the first to emerge followed by a wide set nose and long, thin front legs. His steps were balanced and purposeful with not one hair out of place as he paced the long stretch of open ground located just outside the heart of Duneclan's camp. The warrior's gaze watched for signs of movement from the Nightwalker's den. He had an itch to scratch and no amount of pacing would resolve it.
The tom's claws sunk into the dry earth beneath his paws and a small huff of impatience escaped his firm exterior. Tangledthorn breathed in slowly and forcibly relaxed his muscles starting from his shoulders and working down his back to his hips. Just find someone to go hunting with, he hummed to himself, then he'd at least get the chance to get his night started out right. Movement from a nearby den caught Tangledthorn's eye and he turned towards the distraction expectantly. Wearing masks and kicking ass

Ashflight - Duneclan - Warrior - Nightwalker - Application Ashflight growled as woke up. Nightmares from her past had plagued her dreams yet again. The pain of who could have been and wasn't still seem to follow her to this day. No one can escape their past now matter how much she tried. Huh-Oh lovely! She sighed heard the light snores of black fur fuzzball lying on her like she was the nest. Shadowchaser would never learn how important life really is. You lazy flank face. With a huff the warrior shoved him off and rose to her paws. The night was young and duties need to be done even if Shadowchaser was going to be a lazy fart that good on him,she wasn't nor would never be. With her head held high took one look at her friend then stepped out of the den. Each stride with the intent on putting her abilities to good use. Just like every scar on her body she learned her right keep her patrolmates. Just who was the question or would be reckless enough to out on her own again. The look on Pantherfoot's face would be priceless. Her green orbs scanned justice any and all who look willingly and able until she locked with another,Tanglethorn. Ah,yes her old rival from her young. They hadn't talk in many moons having take to different paths and fates. Her tail swayed with moderate interest before she walked over her estrange friend. "Long time no see,Tangletail." She teased, "Head out out camp? Mind if I join you?"Tags: sloth , Notes: one ash for your pleasure |

Tangledthorn It came as a surprise to Tangledthorn when Ashflight stumbled out of the Nightwalker’s den. Truthfully it’d been some time since the two warriors crossed paths and he didn’t know whether to be thankful or annoyed that they’d ignored each other for so long. At one point in time the two were rivaling Trainees and attempts at outpacing and overcoming one another was common practice between the two. Now; however, warrior duties had set them on a level playing field and it seemed silly to Tangledthorn that he’d gone so far to outshine another who he should have deemed an equal from the start.
That sense of equality did not extend to his sister Pantherfoot; their rivalry went beyond duty to one’s clan though he did wonder if at some point in the future he would reflect and think his jealousy towards her was something as childish as his animosity towards Ashflight and something that should be left in his youth. He was not mature enough to move on from his disdain for his sister so quickly though, and just thinking of the she-cat had an ear flicking back in frustration.
Luckily; Ashflight rescued his sinking thoughts with a chirpy greeting and a tail twitch. “Hello Ashflight,” he rumbled be in response. The molly rattled off an inquiry about leaving for a hunt and he replied with a formal nod and muttered; ”Yes,” before turning to the edge of camp and walking towards the desert with purpose.

Ashflight - Duneclan - Warrior - Nightwalker - Application Ah see. Tanglethorn had always been a rather serious tom as most nightwalkers were. He was definition of an able warrior who bears his burdens with pride. Even back then was he always seemed so distance just as she was trapped being taught by toxic tom-cat. However the warrior saw sure their still was raging fire within somewhere deep down. Duty are meet to be take seriously as always and yet their was this nagging feeling that began to fester as began into desert. He has really changed. The sky was clear the stars looming overhead. Daywalkers had the blue sky but Nightwalker were blessed with beauty of the stars. It always felt to surreal especially with a comrades-in-arms. Once the mission truly began she doubt he would want to be distracted by talk. So just brief conversation(or her going all the talking) could possible be acceptable. "How you been has life been treating you well? Anything happen worth mentioning?"Ashflight didn't to upset carefully trying to tread the water lightly. Tanglethorn was ally for now away she didn't feel the pressure of competition as with his sister. He wasn't as headstrong as the foolish she-cat sense was. Ash was rather content with hunting with some who wouldn't hold a miss and fault against her too much. Tags:sloth, Notes: |
