As one can easily guess herbal remedies in Duneclan are difficult to come by. The desert's hot weather and dry, arid air makes it hard for certain remedies that any normal Warriors fan could list off the top of their head, so here is a small list to help the medicine cats on their journey of healing.
B
Blue Spine (Agave tequilana) : Used as a replacement for honey, or sugar
Used as a treat for kits, or a sweetener for some herbs. The plant is ground or smashed and the sap from the long leaf shapes is what provides the medicine and the nectar is then provided from what is squeezed out of the plants.
F
Fire Ear (Kalanchoe Thyrsiflora) : TOXIC TO CATS!!! Used to clear out the system.
This plant is toxic and is harmful, must be used with caution. Not to be used on cats or dogs, unless used to empty the digestive system (vomiting and diarrhea)
Firesap (Euphorbia tirucalli) : Asthma and coughs
Firesap is a plant used to assist with asthma, coughs, and toothache. However, this plant is hard to care for and it needs to be cut in a special way to prevent injury.
H
Hot Stones : Helps with sore muscles and aches in the back.
O
Ocotillo : Used for fatigue, swollen limbs, and coughs.
S
Sphaeralcea Ambigua : Used for sores, wounds, and snakebites.
Sun Poppy (California Poppy) : Anxiety, long-term physical and mental exhaustion, and promotes relaxation.
V
Vapor/steam (or air) : Coughs or respiratory Issues
A steam bath (have a cat bathe in hot water, or in the sun for a few hours) can help reduce fever.

To grow Blue Spine:
-Well-draining soil
-Direct sunlight for at least 6 hours a day
-Keep the plant warm
-Prevent root rot
-Water a newly planted species once weekly
-Only water enough to moisten the soil
(if you aren't sure, don't water. It's best for this plant to stay dry rather than get too wet)

To grow fire ear:
-Water only when the soil is dry
-Never overwater, Fire ear is prone to rot in soggy soil
-Water sparingly during the winter months
-Plants do well in full sunlight or light shade
-Avoid direct light during the summer months, as too much intense light may scorch the plant

Firesap (Euphorbia tirucalli) : Asthma and coughs
Firesap is a plant used to assist with asthma, coughs, and toothache. However, this plant is hard to care for and it needs to be cut in a special way to prevent injury.
The sap from this plant can cause severe rashes and blemishes if it comes into contact with the skin or mouth. To prevent this mishap from occurring, a medicine cat can protect themselves by cutting the plant very carefully. Cut the branches of this plant by snapping it off with your mouth, or cutting it off with claws. Be careful if when placing the species in your mouth that you do not bite down on it.
Dip the freshly cut end in a small cool concoction (water from the oasis or a small batch of it that has been cooling will work for this method.) This will stop the sap from flowing from the plant. Leave the cut pieces in the open air for a week until it forms a callous. After the callous has formed, the plant is ready for use. Place it into a pot of moist sand, succulent mix, or cactus mix for safe keeping.
To grow the firesap it needs these specific living conditions:
-Bright, full sun
-Water every two to three weeks in the summer and no water is needed in the winter
-In the fall and spring, reduce watering to every month
-Make sure the soil is gritty and well-draining
-Any excess moisture needs to drain or be able to evaporate otherwise you risk root rot

Vapor/steam (or air) : Coughs or respiratory Issues
A steam bath (have a cat bathe in hot water, or in the sun for a few hours) can help reduce fever.
Vapor or Steam of a mixed herbal concoction which is hot.
-This can be performed by stirring up a concoction of herbs (something like aroma therapy) or by mixing up a hot stew of mud and have the cat stick their face in it for several hours.
This method takes very long, since it's hard for cats to get a mixture steamy enough for this medicine to work without leaving it out for long hours at a time, because of this it's not very recommended but is still available for emergency hours.
