Full Trait Description: Embershade has been going through life with an air of passivity. He doesn't much care to challenge the status quo or do much to advance his own status (unambitious), he believes in what he's been told to believe in and he is perfectly content where he is in life. The thought to think differently than he was raised to has never crossed his mind. He's not lazy in his duties or actions by any means, he's lazy in his thoughts. He is almost willfully ignorant as he doesn't take the time to put himself into another's paws or see from their differing perspectives. He hasn't had much reason to change his mind on the things he was taught and never really learned to think for himself - he just never bothered to care enough.

Embershade remains neutral in most things in life, never really feeling strongly one way or another though he has been known to wake up on the wrong side of the nest (grumpy). Despite his neutrality for most things in his life, he loves his family and can be quite playful and kind-hearted. If he's decided you're worth his time and love then he is unfaltering in his loyalty, and can be extremely protective if he decides the situation calls for it. In a pinch, Embershade is level-headed and quick to act, quite often the first to jump into action if the camp or a cat needs defending against a threat.

The Past

Born to Almond- and Bracken-, with sibling Tawnyshine, Embershade has had a rather uneventful life up until this point. 

As a kit, Embershade was playful in nature but never got into too much trouble. He spent most of his time with his sister and made a few friends here and there. His neutral attitude made it easy to make friends as his opinions rarely clashed with others. Whenever they did, he didn't care or feel strongly enough to get into arguments over it. 

Once he was an apprentice, his life continued much the same. He got along with his mentor and made casual friendships with his fellow clan-mates. He never developed a best friend or any other strong relationships and has been going through life not feeling strongly about anyone but his family. Even his relationships with his family are rather neutral in nature. While he loves his family, he is not overly close with them - and doesn't seem to realize what he's missing. He thinks that his experience is just the way it is and hasn't really paid enough attention to realize otherwise. 

Embershade became a warrior on time and was named -shade after his aptitude towards hunting and stealth. He didn't change families as he never saw much point and was always perfectly content where he was in life. 

All of this will be challenged in future plotting as Embershade discovers he can feel strong emotions and can actually learn to form his own opinions and thoughts.
