If you'll be my star, I'll be your sky
#### Stonefall laid by the Mossy Pool, blinking down upon the cool still waters that glittered like stars. He was taking a break after a long hunt, happy, content with his catches. It was quiet, everyone having either gone to bed or quieting down for those that would prefer to catch some sleep before catching their duties the next day; and, as he looked down upon the water contently, he thought about how he would have to wake up and do the same tomorrow. His mind drifted, his gaze focusing on the gems at the bottom of the pool, imagining his ancestors looking up at him. What would they think of him? Were his mother and sisters watching? He got closer, squinting carefully as he peered downwards. And then he let out a startled yelp and fell in when he heard pawsteps behind him. Covered in water from head to toe, he turned around to face whoever had arrived, his pelt turning bright red in embarrassment. His nose turned even a redder shade when he registered who it was. "Dawn," he said. "Just going for a s-swim," he said with a small nervous giggle. He walked out of the pool and sat besides her, a small smile on his face as he got himself settled. It had been a while since he had talked to her. He guessed it had something to do with the fact that they ended up with different roles in the clan. Performing their warrior duties and meeting up became a little harder. He had to admit though, he did miss her company. He slowly tugged his tail in-between his paws. Maybe...they could reconnect? ooc: Here you go. It's not what you are that is holding you back. It's what you think you are not.

I follow my inner star I am a shining example of love and light Keeping up the new quota for gems was daunting task. In fact one could say it was a bit annoying. Black gems influx was being a might have pain in the rump.Tunnelers having to work twice as hard to make ends met. It can catch up you after a while. The caliby has finished her duties and Gorsehoney was off on his own for a little while and instead of going to the underground lake like normal she went to the mossy pools for a chance of pace. The gems glittered and glow to her delight but real shock was seeing her old friend Stonefall in waterfall. Well then. His pelt looked as grey as rain clouds with his shining like emeralds under the lighting. Heh. It been quite some time since they last talked with one another. Since the time they were apprentices they had gone different paths. "Hello there!" Dawnstone replied looked away for a moment to hid the rosy tint on her cheeks. It get together Dawn! After a moment to collect herself, the molly happily greet the wet stonefall at her side and she didn't mind it not one bit. "Right, Sorry for interrupting you. How have been you?"Tag: morio ,

If you'll be my star, I'll be your sky #### "Hey Dawn," he said with a smile. "You w-weren't interrupting me. If anything, it's n-nice to see a friendly face." He looked back at the sparkling pool, it's ripples starting to calm down after being disturbed. He could see their reflection in the water as the gems sparkled brilliantly below and, with it, a prick of admiration welled up inside of him. He excused it as the beautiful way the gems glittered below. "I've b-been doing great, just got d-done from a hunting expedition." He paused for a minute to look at her, glad to look upon the face of an old friend. Sitting next to her, catching up with each other, he felt as if they had never taken different paths in life.
"How are y-you doing?" he asked with all earnestly. Honestly, with all their gems turning black, he had been worried about her. He understood that The Tunnelers had to work overtime to make up for what they lost and the thought that Dawnstone had been involved in working those long hours often came to mind. Thankfully, as far as he was concerned, the crisis was coming to an end, or at least he hoped. "How's the t-tunnel life t-treating you?

I follow my inner star I am a shining example of love and light Dawnstone chuckles it seemed like ages have past since they were but mere kits playing in the nursery. Oh who times had changed. Maybe it was for the better or maybe it was for the worse no matter what Stonefall was a dear friend and still as nervous as ever. He had matured even more than she did if he wasn't by her side. "What's wrong the hunter's bite is worse then their bark?" The she-cat chuckled dabbing his side with her tail. She missed the old days when there was so carefree but doesn't regret coming of age. I must really feel old now. Dawnstone just couldn't believe after all this time Stonefall had grow up into a bright young tom. If only Morningpaw could see him now. If only... Her eyes carried a playful glint in them as forgot her sorrow her friend. "You really are hard-worker. I been doing well myself. Tunneling my way out of sticky situations and even I found a mate. His name is Gorsehoney and his sweet tom I have never meet."tag: morio ,

If you'll be my star, I'll be your sky #### Stonefall let out a chuckle. He could never forget her jokes and puns. He would always try to catch up, but he was no match for the pun master. It was nice to know that didn't change about her. His mind searched around for a pun to retort but came up empty. He would have to come up with some jokes later, maybe something about gems or digging. "I guess s-so," he said with a light snicker.
When she called him a hard worker, he couldn't help but to bashfully take the compliment. A bit of pride and admiration welled up inside of him. It was nice to be complimented, as hard as it was for him in particular to take them. "Thanks," he said with a smile. "I t-try, although I haven't caught an owl y-yet." His eyes lit up slightly. How cool would it be, to catch something so big for his clan. He had always been a good hunter, often bringing back a lot of prey, but never had he caught something so big yet. Well, there was always next time. He remembered there was another hunting expedition the next day. Maybe he could ask if he could join it.
His attention rested back on her as she continued to talk, his off track mind only leaving but for a moment as he gave her his undivided attention. When he heard that she had become mates with Gorsehoney, his ears perked up with interest. He remembered a Gorsepaw when he was younger, although they never really communicated with each other much. But the few interactions he did have with him appeared to be amicable. So Dawnstone ended up with him?
Stonefall remembered a time where this would probably have made him jealous; he recalled having a huge crush on Dawnstone. But that was a long time ago, and time and distance gave him the leeway to move on. At least that's what he assumed. So, he excused the reddish tint on his nose as nothing more than the joy of meeting an old friend. Besides, the look that Dawnstone gave Stonefall as she talked about Gorsehoney, well, Stonefall was happy that she was happy. And he could've wanted nothing more. "T-That's great Dawn," Stonefall said with wide congratulatory eyes. "That's w-wonderful. How long had you t-two been t-together?" His eyes were wide with interest, eager to know what he had missed. It's not what you are that is holding you back. It's what you think you are not.

I follow my inner star I am a shining example of love and light Owls! She heard they were some of the trickiest plan around and even dangerous. Kits are often victims of those fools creature even some apprentice if they were that foolish. Those known to take such a beast where praised and no doubt Dawn did wish the best for him but if was being honest. She didn't want to see get hurt or even risk someone like that. Though of losing someone close to her like she lost her brother scared her the most. "Who cares a good hoot as long your going your your best!" She replied look sternly in eyes. Has she takes that to heart a little much. Maybe? "Be careful if you ever try something like that, please."With she ended that topic with flick of her tail. It was time to starting good times in her life. Gorsehoney was just the sweet like dewdrop such a lovely tom-cat. "Oh stone, It's about six or seven moons now!" She replied on tone softly trying to recall then day. This was a little twinkle in her eyes. "He has a love of gems like do and a way with words. Gorsehoney goes out of his way to show them how precious gems are and it just make so fuzzy and warm." The caibly paused to stop her ranting. "Sorry about, what about you? Have you found you sweet one yet?" tag: morio,

If you'll be my star, I'll be your sky #### Stonefall watched her carefully as she took in his dream of being an expert owl hunter, and could admit that he was a little surprised with her reaction. Although, that was only for a moment when he recalled why the idea startled her. Owl hunting was a dangerous sport and many had lost their lives to their sharp talons and terrifying grip. But Stonefall was a careful cat, and he never took chances that would put him or anyone else in danger.
And the way she looked him in the eyes, it reminded him as to why she was so worried about him in the first place. He wouldn't do anything reckless. She already had enough loss in her life. "I w-won't do anything reckless," he promised, meaning ever word. He looked into her eyes warmly, hoping she knew he was being honest. "You know m-me, I'll worry myself into a fit before doing anything d-dangerous." He gently bumped her with a wink. "When have I ever thrown myself into a s-situation I knew I couldn't w-work my w-way out of."
He relaxed a little as she went on about her mate, his face beaming upon seeing her rant on about him. It was nice to know that she was doing so well and that she was happy with him. He seemed like a nice guy. He listened all the way through until she paused and asked him if he had anyone special in his life. His eyes widened slightly as a small chuckle came out from his maw. "No," he said with a shake of his head. He could blame it on his introversion and how he liked his alone time, but he knew that would be a cop out. Truth be told, he had gone on dates back when he was still in training, but they never really turned into anything meaningful. And it was rather hard for him to get into other cats inner groups since he was sorta socially awkward.
But he didn't mind it all too much. The small company he did keep meant a lot to him, and he wouldn't have it any other way. Of course, he would love to build a relationship with someone in the future, but he guessed he would just have to wait a little longer. "I guess I haven't m-met the right cat yet," he said with a smile.
ooc: My classes end next week so I'm gonna have a lot of free time to post. Sorry this one took so long. :0
