Full Trait Description:

Laurelshine has always had a charismatic air about her and comes across as amiable to most who know her. She is purposeful in her words and never lets an opportune moment pass her by if she can help it. She spent her apprenticeship socializing more than she trained but she was always careful not to let her skills slip too far and was always the epitome of class and punctuality. She is very clever in nature and extremely emotionally aware of those around her. She can solve a problem very quickly and her mind often moves incredibly fast. 

Laurelshine has always been outspoken in her thoughts, though always calculating the best way and time to speak her mind. She's smooth in her interactions and rarely lets her more nasty side show. She is proud of the image she upholds within the clan and intends on maintaining it. 

Laurelshine has always been incredibly vain, caring mostly about her appearance and place within the clan and her family. She has and will step over others to get what she wants. She is arrogant and quick to judge others for not caring in the same capacity. She can be argumentative, and enjoys winning arguments almost as much as she likes causing them. Above all, she is nosy and loves to dig into other's issues and family drama, and more than anything, she loves to match make. 

For herself, Laurelshine knows that she'll never find love - because no one could possibly be good enough for her. They would have to be better than every person she'd ever met before and there are only so many people within the clan that she hasn't discovered in some way. She does not want to just find a mate for the sake of family, and so she has decided that she will never settle down, and she'll likely never have kits. She just resigns herself to becoming an aunt one day and being perfectly content with that.

The Past

Laurelkit and Avocetkit were born to respectable parents within the Willow family. They were not her parents first litter, and as such, the attentions given to them were less of affection and more of raising kits that would not disgrace them this time and rather, bring them pride - their only saving grace from the damage their first litter had done was their high standing in the first place. As such, the two parents often pretended that this second litter was their only litter of kits. The two raised them carefully and with great standards and so, the two sisters grew up to be two very different beings.

As an apprentice, Laurelpaw became obsessed with being perfect - her appearance, her manners, her standing within the family - it all mattered to her. Her sister seemed to be the same but as they aged the differences became clear. Her sister Avocetpaw slowly, and secretly, started to hate perfection, and often purposefully messed up neat piles and left parts of her grooming unfinished. She tried to hide this habit and hatred of perfection from others as best she could but Laurelpaw started to notice, but has neglected to say anything yet, but would the instant those weird habits started to affect her and her standings within the clan. 

Laurelpaw's apprenticeship was filled with socializing more than it was training, much to her mentor's dismay, though she was always careful to maintain her skills well enough to not get a serious talking to. She loves hunting sessions because she often turns them into gossip sessions instead but through her preference for them, has become a decent hunter. She also developed a deadly fear of heights around this age after getting stuck in a tree one training session and having fallen from a great height.

Laurelshine earned her warrior name right on time along side her sister, Avocet- (adopted out) and has only just had her ceremony. She looks forward to the increased standing within Willow family and her new opportunities for gossip and match making.
